XK70 - Saturday Evening 1948 Party

Following day one of our XK70 Jaguar Festival at Shelsley Walsh, the large, traditional-style marquee will be transformed into a swinging dance party venue where you can enjoy a nostalgic celebration of the 1940s and 1950s.

The evening begins with a glass of fizz at 7.00pm followed by a delicious 3-course

(but ration-free) buffet at 7.30pm.

Then it is time to get your dance-cards at the ready for an evening of swing with the Ashby Big Band, one of the best Glenn Miller/1940s tribute bands in the country,

This 12-piece orchestra will keep you 'In the Mood' with two sets comprising the very best dance tunes from the '40s, '50s and 60s.
